The beautiful Tree Bay beach<\/strong> is 3rd among the 50 best beaches of 2019 on a list on the Big 7 Travel website. The Big 7 Travel list catalogues beaches from all over the world. First is Zlatni rat beach (Golden Horn Beach) in Croatia and second is Whitehaven Beach in Australia.<\/p>\n

Fig Tree Bay is considered the most popular beach in Protaras.<\/strong> The beach is named after the fig tree at the back of the beach, which the conquerors brought with them from the east in the 17th century. Golden sand, organized beach and people enjoying their swim along its entire length. This is the picture you see when you visit it. The crystal clear waters and fine golden sand have made this beach one of the best in Europe. The islet is covered with low-level local vegetation.<\/strong> Unlike other beaches nearby, such as The Island, Fig Tree Bay has become a popular destination for families. It is an organized beach where you can even enjoy water sports.<\/p>\n
