Folegandros is the island chosen by those who prefer a relaxed and not so secular vacation. The island that will offer you generously clean beaches, beautiful landscapes and hospitality from the residents. If you choose it for your summer vacations you will be impressed by how much you can see on a not so popular Aegean island. The alternative Folegandros<\/a> is waiting for you to discover it.<\/strong> And with it, Livadi Beach.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A beach…like a meadow in Folegandros<\/strong><\/h3>\n

One of the beaches that stands out and makes Folegandros proud is Livadi beach<\/strong>. Around it, you can see fields and orchards and this is how you realize that its name is more than just a characteristic. If you go camping in Folegandros then you should go there straight.<\/p>\n

It is one of the most popular beaches of the island but also is on the list of the largest ones. <\/b>It has fine pebbles but also fluffy sand while the water is crystal clear. It is so widespread that you will never think it is crowded. Besides, Folegandros is not an island with much tourism that will get you tired.<\/p>\n

The beach does is not organized, so it is a good thing to visit it having your own apparatus or, alternatively, you can look for coolness in the tamarisk trees located along the coast.<\/p>\n

Access to the beach is very easy by car or on foot from Karavostasi.<\/p>\n

Don’t miss visiting the House Museum of Folegandros.<\/strong><\/a> It is a special museum and you will realize it before you even get in. The walls have been joined with dry stone, i.e. without a binder. At that time, the builders chose the right stone and knew how to tie the big ones and the small ones together. It was an art that was known to many.<\/p>\n
