Usually, most people are looking for a beach that is calm and quiet to enjoy for hours. However, there are times when the waves can make your swimming a special experience. One such beach where you can experience this is Pefkoulia beach in Lefkada.<\/strong> A huge sandy beach, where swimming is a real pleasure<\/strong>, no matter what the weather is. Pefkoulia beach is what we call a beach for all tastes.<\/p>\n

And this is the reason that this is a favorite beach for families with children, couples, and groups, as well as for free camping campers on one side of the beach.<\/p>\n

Pefkoulia: A blue beach in Lefkada<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The beautiful beach of Pefkoulia is located on the west side of the island, just before the famous beach of Kathisma. From which it has nothing to be jealous of. See Here<\/strong><\/a> where it is. In Pefkoulia<\/strong>, you will find sunbeds and umbrellas. Part of the beach it is organized. There is, however, plenty of spots to use your own umbrella. No matter how many people are there, you won’t feel crowded because of its large size.<\/p>\n

If you also arrive early, you will be able to enjoy the natural shade from the trees on the edge of the beach. That’s where your swimming experience takes off.<\/strong> And most likely you’ll stay until nightfall to enjoy the sunset. That’s what we did. Just above the beach, there is a shop that has everything you want, from food and drinks, so you won’t need anything.<\/p>\n

The beach where you enjoy the waves<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Pefkoulia beach can be completely calm but also totally wild. With big and impressive waves. When the waves aren’t too big and dangerous, and you know good swimming, you can play a little on the edge. Or sit in the sand and wait for the waves to burst at your feet. But be careful, you shouldn’t exaggerate. That’s because they think that when there are a lot of waves at the neighboring beach, Kathisma<\/strong> is forbidden to swim.<\/p>\n
