This year’s Elf Mill will start in November 29 and run until January 6<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Mill of the Elves.<\/strong><\/a> On December 9 of 2011, Santa Claus transformed The Matsopoulos Mill in Trikala.<\/strong><\/a> Thus, the largest Christmas theme park in Greece was born.<\/strong> Legend has it that the old chimneys started operating again. They’ve been operating non-stop ever since.<\/p>\n

This year’s Elf Mill will start from November 29 of 2019, and run until January 6, 2020.<\/strong> Trikala will wear for the ninth year in a row their holiday costumes to welcome young and old visitors.<\/p>\n

Matsopoulos Mill is transformed for a month and a half and welcomes millions of visitors! Every year, for 40 days, from the end of November to the beginning of January, hundreds of thousands of visitors from every corner of Greece and the Balkan countries visit the Mill. Thessaly<\/strong><\/a>is at the heart of Greece.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/picture>In 2015 and 2016, there were just under 1,500,000 visits each year. In 2017 it is estimated that over 2,500,000 people visited the park.<\/strong> The Elf Mill <\/strong><\/a>managed to create something that didn’t exist. Christmas tourism. Its example was copied from other regions.<\/p>\n

Every year something new happens at the Mill. This year will host one of the most famous Christmas stories: The Nutcracker.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/picture>The fairy tale of the German writer Ernst Hoffman comes to life in Trikala and promises unique moments in the largest Christmas park in Greece.<\/p>\n

The kingdom that smells of candy and chocolate. Mmmm… It is the dream of those who love sweets. That is, everyone.<\/strong> The large building of the Mill of Elves, the one with the red ribbon, comes alive this year by a large and unlikely scandalous company.<\/p>\n

The Post Office of the Elves<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/picture>Countless wishes and desires. The Elves’ Mail will also act as a source of inspiration this year. The luckiest children will be able to find themselves in Santa’sPost Office<\/strong>, which is also hosted at the Elf Mill.<\/p>\n

The Ice Kingdom<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The well of wishes<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/picture>And while you’re walking in the fairy-tale forest, you’ll find something in front of you that piques your interest. You will find the Well of Wishes! What do you want to do at that moment? Make a wish.<\/strong> Who knows, your wish may be heard from the well!<\/p>\n

The Kingdom of Games<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Oh, yes. It’s what you heard. A kingdom that is full of toys. Enter the world of puppets. That’s where the Nutcracker was made.<\/strong> Toymakers fill children’s faces with joy by painting faces. The Magic Box is waiting for you. Ballerina’s waiting for you to wind her up.<\/p>\n

Santa’s house<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/picture>At some point in the park, you’ll find Santa’s house. To get in, you’ll have to cross the forest.<\/strong> Elves and fairies will be on your way. The reward will be great.<\/p>\n

The Mushroom Museum<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Alice in the Mill of Elves! Including the red mushroom. In the Mushroom Museum, you will find old acquaintances.<\/strong> Queen Cup and Jack will be there. The March Hare and Dino. The White Rabbit.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Energy Park<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Energy Park showcases the three main renewable energy sources: wind, solar and water-derived.<\/strong> That’s why you will have the opportunity to see the hydro turbine of the Mill, the small photovoltaic panel and the wind turbine!<\/p>\n

Playmobil Crystal Palace<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Playmobil, the games that have grown generations and generations, have also reached Trikala.<\/strong><\/a> A unique exhibit is expected to give young and old quite the journey. The Crystal Palace is waiting for you!<\/strong><\/p>\n

From Athens – 325 km: <\/strong> In Lamia exit to Karditsa-Trikala follow the regional road Karditsa to Trikala at the regional junction of Trikala. Turn left to Pyli at the node leading to Pyli. Turn right towards Trikala. In 1.5 km you reach Matsopoulos Park – Mill of Elves. Park in the 15-acre free parking lot, 80 meters away from the park entrance.<\/p>\n

From Thessaloniki – 220km:<\/strong> Travelling to Larissa. Continue on the 4th exit to Larissa – Trikala – Karditsa. Follow the marking. On the Trikala ring road, drive to Pyli, to the junction leading to Pyli turn right, towards Trikala. In 1.5 km you reach Matsopoulos Park – Mill of Elves. Park in the 15-acre free parking lot, 80 meters away from the park entrance.<\/p>\n

From Ioannina – 127km:<\/strong> Drive to Grevena-Kalabaka. Before entering Trikala, at the roundabout, follow the direction to Pyli. At the next junction of the ring road to Pyli turn left to Trikala. In 1.5 km you reach Matsopoulos Park – Mill of Elves. Park in the 15-acre free parking lot, 80 meters away from the park entrance.<\/p>\n
