Some people have conspiracy theories about this, but we will not go into them right now. The important thing is that the ancient triangles of Greece<\/strong> offer many other experiences besides conspiracy theories.<\/p>\n

SOUNIO – Temple of Poseidon

The temple is part of an archaeological site that you can explore at any time of the day. If you plan to spend a day at Sounion, here are 3 stops you should make.<\/p>\n

One of them is Skalakia Beach<\/strong>, located at the 35th kilometer of the coastal road from Athens to Sounion. This is a hidden gem that you will want to visit again and again, not only in summer.<\/p>\n

Another one is Sounion National Park<\/strong>, which is not very well-known but worth seeing and hiking.<\/p>\n

After that, you can satisfy your hunger by dining at one of the taverns in Sounion<\/strong>, many of which have a view of the Temple of Poseidon.<\/p>\n

If you are more interested in the present than in the past, don\u2019t worry.<\/p>\n

\"Ride<\/picture>Aegina also has beautiful beaches<\/strong>, such as Panagitsa Beach, Avra Beach, or Kolona Beach, where you can see pine trees touching the sea. These are perfect places to relax and enjoy yourself, before heading to a restaurant or tavern for some delicious food. Some of the places you can try are \u201cBabis\u201d, \u201cKappos Tsi\u201d, \u201cSkotadis\u201d, and \u201cBakalogatos\u201d. Aegina Island is a trip that combines vintage charm, tasty cuisine, and lively nightlife.<\/p>\n

ATHENS – Temple of Hephaestus<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Once you return from Aegina by boat, you can complete your \u201cmission\u201d by visiting the last point of the triangle: Thissio in Athens, where the Temple of Hephaestus stands inside the Ancient Agora. The area of Thissio used to be called Alonia because there was a threshing floor in the square outside the ISAP station (a station of the old electric metro of Athens). Over time, everything changed, but the area still retains its charm and today looks like a traditional Athenian neighborhood. There you can admire the temple of Hephaestus<\/strong>, walk along the pedestrian street of Apostolou Pavlou str, and feel the atmosphere of the past, with the Acropolis looming over you.<\/p>\n
