In the famous for its natural beauty Ionian Sea, in Kefalonia with its fantastic seas, there is a beach like no other: The famous Xi beach. Why did they call her that? Because, viewed from above, it seems to form the specific letter of the Greek alphabet! \"Ionian:<\/picture>And those of you who love water sports, remember that there is the possibility for jet ski, water skiing, parasailing, but also for pedaloes. Also, within walking distance, just above, you will find taverns with fresh fish and local recipes, while wonderful are the rooms to let, with their balconies overlooking the endless blue. Which, in fact, are much cheaper compared to other busy spots of Kefalonia. Before you start your journey, don’t forget about the trick with the coin in the freezer.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Xi<\/picture>How to get to Xi beach in Kefalonia.<\/strong> The beach is located eight kilometers south of Lixouri (that is, about 10 minutes by car) and very close to the village of Mantzavinata, where there are also many accommodation options. You will reach it by car, as the road has been asphalted since 1990, while daily routes are made by local buses, with a stop right next to the beach.<\/p>\n
