It is a two-storey corner building in a strictly cubic shape and with a balcony supported by corbels. In 1929, the then Prime Minister Eleftherios Venizelos had come out on his balcony to deliver a speech to the people of Lavrion. He had gone to the city to deal personally with the great question of the dynamic strike of the city’s miners. This building today houses the Historical Archive of Lavrio and the Municipal Library.<\/p>\n
