And this happens all year round. Having a more summery mood, today we will travel to a corner of Greece with sea and a cave with a huge hole overlooking the sky. The spectacle is extremely impressive and makes you travel all year round. The sea cave is located on a small beach on the island of Milos and is called the cave of Sykia. Milos is generally famous for its impressive formations that create many idyllic lunar landscapes. One of them, then, is the cave of Sykia on the homonymous beach. Inside the cave, there is this small but extremely impressive beach. A pebbly beach with crystal clear waters. Why is this cave so-called? Its name is due, according to many, to the fact that very close to the opening of the roof there is a fig tree. And indeed that may be the reason for the name. The name, after all, has much less meaning than the image one sees.

Remember that if you have ever been on the island, you will be able to reach this beach only by sea.

Milos: The island with lunar landscapes

This, however, is not the only surprise that Milos hides.
