The village is located on the homonymous plateau, that of Zacholi and is built at an altitude of 750 meters. From this alone, you understand what you are going to encounter there from vegetation. The settlement is located in a beautiful and green forest and is<\/strong> ideal for peace and detoxification from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The green route is crossed by the river Zacholitikos which flows into the Corinthian Gulf and therefore makes the place even more magical because of the water element.<\/p>\n

On the one-day excursion to Zacholi, you will meet a well-kept secret so close to Athens that it will immediately enchant you. The reason for the beautiful Stream of the Mills. This is the name of a location in the village of Zacholi which is a real miracle of nature. You will need to walk on a short and easy path, especially accessible for those who are not particularly athletic. Legend has it that it was built after superhuman efforts of the people of the village, as the Ottoman administration had agreed to create a Christian church in the village only on condition that it was completed within 40 days otherwise it would be demolished.<\/p>\n

The village is also famous for its good food which of course you should honor if you are there. Apart from delicious, you will enjoy it at very good prices.<\/p>\n
