There are, however, some specific rules to keep your home safe while you're away on holidays. This will reduce the chances of you having some unpleasant surprise when you return.
Don't share where you are on social networks
The basic rule that must be strictly adhered to. Even if you think you only have friends on Facebook, you never know who sees your profile and will try to take advantage of your absence. If you definitely want to upload photos of your holidays to social networks, do it after you have returned.
Half-open shutters and curtains
Of course you have to lock up well, but maybe an open shutter moves less suspicion that you're missing, and the burglar will think twice before breaking into your house. He'll prefer a house from which the occupants are definitely missing. Select the window that offers more security and opens more difficult to do so.
Attention to mail
