Canteens and umbrellas are available for your use if desired, or you can take advantage of the natural shade offered by the tamarisk trees.

Karas Beach stands apart from a conventional coast as it features white rocks that call to mind the landscape of nearby Milos and provide views of the Polyaigos islet. Its small bay is a prime spot for diving into its pool-like, deep turquoise waters.
Karas Beach’s pristine environment is unorganized and features only a scattering of tamarisk trees for shade. Don’t forget to bring a towel, sun hat, water, and snacks to enhance your experience.

Follow the signs shortly after leaving the salt lake shore and you’ll find yourself at Mavrospilia beach. To dive into its waters, you’ll need to traverse a road that is not fully paved in some sections. The beach, covered in sand, is named after a cave on the sea rocks.
Should you choose, a beach bar can offer you umbrellas and sunbeds. In either the organized or unorganized section of the beach, stay until sunset to appreciate the awe-inspiring reflection of its colors on the sea.

Situated beside Mavrospilia beach is Ellinika, which also boasts thick sand. The path to reach it is rugged and requires traveling along a bumpy road.
