Golden sand, blue waters and endless dunes make a magnificent landscape on the largest island of the Cyclades. The reason for Naxos and Plaka beach. A beach that can definitely be at the list of the best of the island which is confirmed by the visitors who arrive there every summer. Plaka is a beach with shallow waters ideal for all types of travelers and beloved by families. If you go to Naxos for a holiday it can definitely be one of your swimming options.

Naxos: The beautiful beach Plaka

Plaka beach was one of the most beloved of visitors from the 60's and 70's. Even now it remains one of the best and most popular beaches in Naxos. It is a natural continuation of the beach of Agia Anna.

The majestic landscape of Plaka is the vast golden sandy beach with crystal clear blue waters with the very small pebble inside. The sea is usually calm and gradually get deep Relaxing in its endless area you can observe Glaronissia and Paros. Images that will remain deeply etched in your mind even when you return from your vacation.

The characteristic of the plaza is the large dunes that exist at the back of the beach. In most of it you will find sunbeds and umbrellas to enjoy your swim. You will also observe the cedar trees that grow near the sea and form a natural shade. You can, also put on your own umbrella and look and enjoy the sea.

All along the beach, you will find cafes, beach bars, and restaurants that will cheer you up. Also nearby you will find kiosks for watersports, such as surfing, jet-sky, banana-rides, and diving schools. Plaka Beach, in fact, is a beach for all tastes that will leave you in all respects happy.
