This is apparent from the announcement by the Hellenic Society for the Protection of Nature (SEPF), National Operator of the International Blue Flag Programme in our country. In first place is Spain. This year, the International Commission awarded 3,895 coasts, 691 marinas and 82 tourist boats worldwide.
As for the region of Greece which has the most Blue Flags, it is for another year Regional Unit of Halkidiki, with 94 flags. Besides seeing that you’re swimming on a beautiful beach, you now know how clean it is.
