How to get to Kavourotripes. Sithonia, the middle peninsula of Halkidiki, is about 700 km from Athens. When you get there, more specifically, on the road to Sarti, about 6km south of Armenistis and 5km. north of Platanitsi, on the route with the repeated turns there is a long straight.
Among the pine trees, small openings can be seen and there are the entrances -like other rabbit holes in Alice in Wonderland- for the enchanting beaches. The descent is short.
And a Tip: The sign on the main road with the indication “Portokali beach bar” leads to the bar located on the longest beach of Kavourotripa, about 350 meters, via dirt road. This very nice beach bar is the only organized infrastructure in Kavourotripes.
