Mykonos may be famous for its nightlife and the entertainment it offers, but it's not just the cosmopolitan shops and the graphical alleys that will excite you if you'll be there for holidays The island of winds, as it is called, is considered, and not unfairly, that it has some of the best beaches of the Aegean Sea. It's a sheltered beach and you can easily do water-sports. It is the most organized beach of Mykonos as it is well equipped with umbrellas, sunbeds, beach bars, and even with a hairdresser. The white sandy beach combined with the turquoise waters make the landscape unique and offer an unforgettable experience to the visitor.

Kapari

Kaparis Beach is 6 km from Mykonos Town. It is a relatively deserted beach that is distinguished for its blue, crystal clear waters, fine sand, and smooth flat rocks. Αccess is quite difficult, to get to the shore, from the road, and there is an inaccessible path. The ideal time to visit it is in the afternoon, it is then you can enjoy the sunset overlooking the island of Delos.

Elia

Elia is one of the most beautiful organized beaches of the island. It is 13 km from the town. It is distinguished for its fine golden sand and its clear blue waters. Nudism is allowed in some parts of the beach.

Paraga

It is a windless bay and one of the smallest beaches in Mykonos. It is located 6 km from the town of the island. It is famous for its white sand, blue waters, and fine gravel. The beach is organized and popular with youth and the gay community. The beach bars with loud music and the restaurants form an atmosphere of real entertainment in the midst of a beautiful natural environment.
