I’m sure raising a lot of money in your piggy bank isn’t the easiest way. However, with simple daily habits, you can secure an amount of money, in a semester, for example, you probably wouldn’t imagine possible.

Maybe with this tactic, you’ll be able to raise money for the trip you’ve planned.

Here are 8 easy ways to raise money by following a few simple habits:

1. Coffee from home

One of the daily expenses that absorbs a lot of money without you realizing it. For example, if you estimate 1.5 euros for a daily cup of coffee for 25 days a month, it is equal to the expense of 37,5 euros. If you do this, all year round, then it costs you 450 eur.

2. Make a list for the supermarket

If you don’t, you’ve definitely added expenses you didn’t count on. Following the list you’ve made, you don’t make “unnecessary” expenses. If you don’t do that, then you’re in danger of getting out of budget and probably a lot.

3. Locate the free events in your area

You don’t always have to choose whatever needs a fee for entry or costs a lot. Search for the free events in your area and have fun once in a while with what suits you.

4. Coins in a piggy bank

Throw in a jar every day the coins you have in your wallet that are under 1€. All of them. At the end of the year, you’ll be surprised at the money gathered.

5. Have something to eat from home

The well-known Tupperware will dramatically reduce your “eating” expenses at work.

6. Exercise at home or go out

If you’re in a phase where you want to raise money, then the gym might not be so necessary for you. You might as well do some exercise at home or go for jocking in a nearby park.

7. Check your mobile phone plan

There may be a better and cheaper plan in the market that can cover your needs. Especially if you have a permanent connection plan, you have to check other offers from time to time.

8. Avoid ordering food at home in the evening

We don’t suggest you should never order. But if you feel like you’ve gone too far, then hold back and put the money you’d spend for the order to a piggy bank every time. In a little while, you’ll have raised a nice sum of money.
