Tsagarada Village

Tsagarada is a popular village in Pelion, balancing both mountain and sea elements in its scenery. It is built on a verdant mountain slope at an altitude of 500 meters. Visitors can admire stone paths and stone-built fountains that offer cool running waters. The scent of plane trees and the oxygen-rich atmosphere will help you harmonize with nature. Tsagarada is a cosmopolitan settlement with four districts, each named after the temples in their squares.

Don’t forget to visit the old stone bridge at the village entrance and Platanos in the Agia Paraskevi district, which has been around for a millennium.

Before leaving, make sure to stop at the Hellenic Museum, where the great Rigas Feraios was apprenticed (Greek Hero of the Greek Revolution of 1821), and see his unique library.

Agios Dimitrios is a wonderful village in Pelion, built on a mountainside at an altitude of 340 meters. It is surrounded by greenery and named after the monastery of the homonymous Saint that once stood where the present church is. During your stay, you can enjoy the unique view of both mountains and sea. Take a hike on stone streets and enjoy the countryside blooming with flowers and plants.

The idyllic scenery of Xirovrysi Square will enchant you. Five plane trees provide shade and coolness, while a marble fountain gurgles with water, completing the heavenly setting. Follow the path to the Agios Theologos monastery to admire nature at its peak.

Agios Ioannis is the seaport of the settlement, adding a touch of the sea. Visit the beach of the same name or the unique Papa Nero to enjoy diving in turquoise waters. The shores are lined with white pebbles.
