Quiet beaches with crystal clear waters and not so crowded where you can enjoy your swimming. The beaches of the Corinthian gulf and generally the area of Corinth is ideal for one day trip just for enjoying the sun and the sea. Such a beach is the beach of Schinos in Loutraki. Schinos Beach next to Athens
We went for the first time to Schinos beach according to some friends’ suggestion that it is a small and unknown diamond next to Attica. And so it is indeed. While we were arriving we saw from above that it was a small bay so we figured out that it would not be caught by the wind even if the weather was windy that day. And we’ve been confirmed. Schinos Beach is so protected that we enjoyed a dreamily swimming.
Schinos beach is a beach with shallow and clear waters and fine pebbles. It gives you the sense of a small island beach. As soon as we arrived, The parking was easy and we were looking for the best spot. We didn’t have a hard time to find it because even though it was a weekend we didn’t meet a lot of people. So we found the spot of the sand that we liked and set up the umbrella, and all the rest of our things.
We can confidently say that we had one of the most enjoyable swimming experiences. The waters were calm without waves, very clear and a gentle breeze just to cool us was blowing from time to time.
The fact that it didn’t have many people made us feel even more comfortable and safe. And our beautiful day continued after the swimming. Because in the area, almost at the edge of the sea there are taverns and shops where you can enjoy your coffee or food.
